From the Desk of Dr. Andrea Feigl

The upcoming 78th UN General Assembly offers a valuable opportunity for collective reflection on the challenges and opportunities within global health. We look forward to your presence as we explore this crucial dialogue together.

On the sidelines of UNGA 78, the Health Finance Institute and Sanofi are co-hosting “Unlocking Universal Health Coverage 2030: The Power of Health Financing,” a high-level breakfast event. The breakfast will take place on Wednesday, September 20th, from 7:15 am to 8:45 am EST, in the Cambridge Room at the Harvard Club of New York City.

Before the panel, we will kickstart the event by unveiling our novel framework for measuring progress on sustainable health financing.

Our panel discussion will feature esteemed representatives from the World Health Organization, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, GAVI, and Ministries of Health. Panelists—including GAVI’s Chief Resource Mobilization & Growth Officer as well as Head of the Global Financing Facility for Women, Children, and Adolescent Health — will offer their expertise on financing resilient health systems, showcasing innovative finance solutions that have positively influenced healthcare delivery and accessibility.

If you would like to participate in this timely discussion, please secure your seat today by registering at https://HFI-At-UNGA78.eventbrite.com. Together, let us unlock the potential of Universal Health Coverage and pave the way to a brighter future.
